PALEMA helpline – for those who need to talk to someone

by | 15 January, 2025 | About PALEMA, Relative

Do you feel like you want to talk to someone who is or has been in the same situation as you are now, whether you are a relative or directly affected? Then there is the PALEMA helpline.

One of the ambitions of the PALEMA Cancer Association is to offer support and help through contact activities with patients and relatives who have been/are in the same situation.

We therefore offer telephone support to our members, both directly affected and indirectly affected / relatives / relatives.

This service is staffed by our patient advocates who are or have been affected themselves, both directly and by relatives/caregivers.

Telephone support

Simply call the number below and leave your name, phone number and WHAT you want to talk about on our answering machine so we can find the right support person for you. Are you a family member who wants to talk to another family member? Or are you affected yourself and what is your diagnosis?

You can also indicate if there is a particular time when it would be better for us to call you.

Speak clearly and give your phone number twice.

The aim is to call you back within 24 hours, but it can sometimes take a little longer.

010/146 51 15

Please note! If you feel acutely unwell, contact the health services on 1177 or 112!

Please note!

This is done voluntarily and on your own initiative. The advice, tips and experiences shared should never take the place of patients’ contact with healthcare and recommendations from your doctors.

Those who provide support do not do so in any way as representatives of either the PALEMA Cancer Society or the healthcare system, but as private individuals who have been or are in some way affected and who have experiences to share. Telephone contact can be terminated at any time and for any reason.

The service is for paying members only. Become a member here if you are not already. If you have any problems, please contact kansli@palema.org
